Welcome to West Hamilton Youth Soccer Club. We continue with our goal of providing both recreational and competitive soccer to West Hamilton and the surrounding communities. Our club includes a local recreation equal play House League division, older teams who play in WWISL across Hamilton, and our MJ Select division for our growing community of competitive players.
West Hamilton Youth Soccer Club is a true community-based soccer club. With strong commitment from our membership to building the “whole-child,” we are dedicated to teaching and inspiring children to learn new things in new ways. As the only soccer club in Hamilton to have a former Canadian National Women’s Soccer team member as its Technical Director, we are proud of our unique club philosophy.
Recently, West Hamilton implemented several new programs that encourage our children to be active year round. We start with teaching soccer skills, but we also include games that help each player develop a love for fun and activity while developing heart, voice and self-confidence in order to thrive both on and off the field.
Our club unites families while offering strong support and a long history of inclusion to get all members actively involved. Financial support garnered from a variety of areas create dynamic programming and support for those with unique circumstances and special needs.
As one of the first clubs in Hamilton to implement grassroots soccer, West Hamilton remains deeply committed to creating an inclusive soccer culture that is centered on community development, a love of soccer and a lifetime commitment to fun and activity for all. Our proven methods and curriculum enhance each child’s learning experience while ensuring they have the skills and understanding to maintain an active lifestyle for many years to come.
Our club is run and staffed by volunteers and a Technical Director. Please consider serving as Coach or Convener for your child’s division. Play occurs at several locations in West Hamilton.
